About the Sauce: This sriracha-style fermented hot sauce spends an extra year developing flavor for a total fermentation time of over two years. Crafted with locally grown peppers, beets, and carrots from the 2023 harvest, it’s then aged for 11 months in a former Bully Boy Distillers bourbon barrel. Hotter than the original, it’s elevated by tangy, smoky notes with a subtle sweetness and nuttiness.
Uses: Add directly onto food instead of adding to cooking. The richness really comes out and is a great addition to red meat, oysters, sandwiches and eggs.
Ingredients: Peppers (Cayenne, Fresno, and Red Habanero), Onions, Golden & Chioggia Beets, Vinegar, Garlic, Water, Salt.
