mill city red salmon glaze

Spicy Salmon Glaze

This honey garlic salmon glaze is given an added kick with the Mill City Red, creating a mouth-watering spicy and sweet salmon marinade. Try the salmon out with roasted vegetables to create a nourishing and well balanced meal.

Ingredients:

  • ⅓ cup honey
  • ⅓ cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Mill City Red
  • 3 cloves minced garlic
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

  1. Combine Mill City Red, honey, soy sauce, garlic, and lemon juice in bowl and mix together to make marinade.
  2. Pat salmon fillets dry and salt and pepper both sides. Then brush both sides with half of the amount of the marinade.
  3. Heat a pan of oil on medium/high. Once hot, turn burner to medium and place salmon fillets skin side down.
  4. Cook for 6 minutes, then flip fillets. Add more oil if needed, and cook for another 6 minutes or until fillets are soft and flaked.
  5. Remove the salmon from the pan to a serving plate and cover with foil. Add the remaining half of the marinade to the pan, cook on medium heat and stir until it is reduced to a thickened glaze.
  6. Pour the glaze over the salmon fillets and serve.
