Hours: Full-time or part-time (with weekend availability)

About Craic Sauce

Craic Sauce is a small-batch craft hot sauce company that thrives on community, creativity, and bold flavors. Our biggest sales channel is direct-to-consumer at farmers’ markets and events, and we’re looking for an Events & Sales Manager to lead and grow this crucial part of our business.

This is a managerial role where you’ll coach, coordinate, and optimize our event sales operations—helping Craic Sauce make a bigger impact while supporting and celebrating our team.

About the Role

As the Events & Sales Manager, you’ll oversee Craic Sauce’s presence at farmers’ markets, events, and pop-ups. You’ll schedule, train, and lead the Craic Crew, manage logistics, track performance, and innovate new ways to improve sales and engagement. This role blends strategy, leadership, and hands-on execution to make sure our biggest sales channel runs smoothly and successfully.

What You’ll Do

🗓️ Event & Market Coordination

  • Schedule markets & staff availability, ensuring coverage at all events.
  • Coordinate with market managers and event organizers for seamless operations.
  • Oversee setup & logistics, ensuring our booths look great and function smoothly.

🎓 Team Leadership & Training

  • Train and coach staff on market setup, customer engagement, and sauce knowledge.
  • Create playbooks & training materials to improve team performance.
  • Encourage team competitions & incentives to drive customer engagement and morale.

📊 Sales Performance & Strategy

  • Track sales, set goals, and report on key metrics.
  • Work closely with Brian on sales strategies and tactics.
  • Analyze and improve sales processes based on team feedback and data.

🔧 Operations & Logistics

  • Manage kit prep in our office/warehouse space so that event teams are fully equipped.
  • Implement new tools & technologies to improve tracking and efficiency.
  • Ensure smooth reconciliation of sales reports and inventory after events.

🌱 Community & Brand Growth

  • Identify and propose new events that align with Craic Sauce’s brand and audience.
  • Work with the marketing team to highlight markets and events on social media.
  • Collaborate with our Video Director to capture and share event content.
  • Celebrate wins & foster a positive team culture, including team outings and contests.

  • Experienced in team leadership. You’ve led teams, trained staff, or managed events before.
  • Organized & strategic. You’re a planner but can also adapt on the fly.
  • Passionate about food & community. You love local food, farmers' markets, and making connections.
  • A strong communicator. You provide clear direction and inspire a team.
  • Tech-savvy & analytical. You’re comfortable with digital tools, sales tracking, and reporting.
  • Energetic & hands-on. You’re ready to jump in, problem-solve, and make things happen.
  • Comfortable working weekends. This role includes on-call support and occasional weekend shifts.
  • Must have a car. You’ll be moving between events, the Craic Sauce office, and other locations.
