Now, we’re looking for a Director of Video Production to help bring our story to life through compelling video content.
About the Role
We are seeking a creative, curious, and highly motivated storyteller to lead our video production efforts. Your core responsibility will be delivering one engaging, high-quality three-minute video every week to be published on YouTube and social media. This is a high-content production role that requires strong skills in videography, photography, editing, and digital asset management.
This is an opportunity to be embedded in our crew, capturing the process of making hot sauce, working with farmers, engaging at events, and showcasing the craft behind the brand. You’ll also manage a video library and archive, tag content for future use, and take on additional video projects planned for 2025.
Responsibilities
- Plan, shoot, and edit one high-quality three-minute video per week.
- Capture behind-the-scenes footage of production, farming, markets, and events.
- Tell engaging stories through visuals, audio, and narrative storytelling.
- Publish content across YouTube and social media platforms.
- Manage and organize a video content library and archive.
- Collaborate with the team to develop new video projects beyond the weekly deliverable.
- Be part of the team, contributing ideas and engaging with the Craic Sauce community.
Qualifications
- Experience in videography, photography, and video editing.
- Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar).
- Experience with audio recording, particularly with a Zoom H6 recorder.
- Strong storytelling skills and a passion for craft, food, and community.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with the team.
- Familiarity with social media video formats and best practices.
- Must be available in Lowell on a weekly basis.
Bonus Skills
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, After Effects, Illustrator, etc.).
- Background in documentary-style filming or social media storytelling.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing company with a flexible schedule.
Perks & Benefits
- Flexible hours and work environment – work independently but be part of a passionate team.
- Opportunity for more hours in the summer, including at events and with the crew.
- Craic Sauce perks: Plenty of hot sauce and opportunities to be part of a growing craft food brand.
This role is perfect for a self-driven creator who thrives on storytelling, loves hands-on work, and wants to grow with an exciting, independent food brand.
