Location: Lowell, MA (Must be based locally and have access to a car), also smaller satellite positions open in Worcester, Cape Code, Rhode Island and Southern NH. 
Hours: 20–30 hours per week (Flexible, including weekends)
Compensation: $18 / hr + commission

About Craic Sauce

Craic Sauce is a small-batch craft hot sauce company built on flavor, community, and creativity. We grow many of our own ingredients, craft unique sauces in-house, and connect directly with our customers through farmers' markets and events.

We’re looking for kind, welcoming, and hardworking team members to join our Craic Crew—a versatile role that includes hot sauce production, farming, and farmers' market sales. If you love food, working with your hands, solving problems, and being part of something bigger, this job is for you.

About the Role

As a Craic Crew Member, you’ll take on a mix of kitchen production, farm work, and market sales each week, gaining hands-on experience in food production and local food systems. Your responsibilities will shift with the seasons, making this an exciting and dynamic role. We also do have flexibility on scheduling based on availability and preferences of types of work.

What You’ll Do

Your weekly schedule could include a combination of:

  • Kitchen Production (1–2 shifts per week)
    • Cook and bottle small-batch hot sauce.
    • Prep ingredients, including roasting, chopping, and fermenting.
    • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace.
  • Farm Work (1–2 shifts per week, in-season)
    • Plant, harvest, and maintain pepper crops.
    • Work in the soil, handling fresh produce.
    • Support seasonal farm projects as needed.
  • Farmers' Markets & Sales (1–2 shifts per week)
    • Set up and break down Craic Sauce market booths.
    • Engage with customers, offer samples, and share our story.
    • Represent Craic Sauce with a positive and welcoming attitude.
  • Other Projects & Team Initiatives
    • Improve workflows and processes.
    • Assist in special projects and seasonal events.

Requirements

  • Must be based in or near Lowell, MA.
  • Must have access to a car (Markets, farm work, and production shifts may require transportation).
  • Must be able to work on your feet for extended periods.
  • Must be able to work at least one weekend day per week.
