About Craic Sauce
Craic Sauce is a Lowell-based seed-to-sauce hot sauce company built around local farming, small-batch production, and community connection. We grow or source our ingredients from Massachusetts farms, craft our sauces ourselves, and sell directly to customers, restaurants, retailers, and institutions across New England.
Good craic is our guiding light. “Craic” is a Gaelic word for good fun, conversation, and company, but for us it runs deeper.
Good craic means showing up to farms, kitchens, markets, and events with energy, curiosity, and care. It means being hands-on, community-oriented, and people-first. We exist to craft bold, distinctive sauces while celebrating the hyper-local food system and the people who make it possible.
The Role
We’re hiring a Community Sales & Market Operations Manager to become a core leader within the Craic Crew. This is a hands-on, face-to-face role for someone who thrives in the field, builds relationships naturally, and ensures the operational details behind sales run smoothly.
You will help drive revenue growth while making sure markets, deliveries, and customer relationships operate with consistency and care.
This is not a desk job. You will be:
- working on high-impact operational systems
- at farmers markets and festivals
- visiting retail & restaurant partners
- making deliveries
- preparing market kits & inventory
- supporting the kitchen and farm as needed
You must live within commuting distance of Lowell and have reliable transportation.
Sales & Market Operations Responsibilities
Market & Event Operations
- Schedule and coordinate farmers markets and events
- Prepare market kits, inventory, signage, and POS systems
- Serve as point person for coverage and callouts
- Track inventory going out and returning from markets
- Improve and document market workflows and SOPs
Field Sales & Relationship Building
- Represent Craic Sauce at markets, demos, and events
- Visit retail accounts for restocks, relationship building, and merchandising
- Conduct tastings and product demos
- Support onboarding of new wholesale partners
- Build relationships with chefs, buyers, and store employees
Wholesale & Delivery Coordination
- Schedule and coordinate wholesale deliveries
- Support invoicing and order follow-up
- Communicate delivery timing with partners
- Maintain delivery routing and logistics systems
Outreach & Account Development
- Identify and research new target accounts
- Support outreach and follow-up with warm leads
- Track activity and outcomes in HubSpot
- Assist with new market and event applications
Ecommerce & Customer Experience
- Oversee ecommerce fulfillment workflow
- Support customer service communications
- Ensure orders are packed and shipped accurately
- Improve customer experience touchpoints
Systems & Operations Improvement
- Support HubSpot and Shopify operations
- Maintain and improve SOPs and checklists
- Identify inefficiencies and propose improvements
- Maintain market and delivery glossaries & systems
Craic Crew Responsibilities
Farmers Markets & Sales
- Work 2–3 markets per week
- Speak confidently about flavors and uses
- Deliver warm, engaging customer experiences
- Support sales training and consistency across the team
Kitchen & Production Support
- Assist with production when needed
- Follow food safety and cleanliness protocols
- Support inventory organization and labeling
Urban Farming Support (Seasonal)
- Assist with harvesting and farm tasks as needed
- Work outdoors in varied weather conditions

Skills & Traits We’re Looking For

- Comfortable with CRM and basic software tools
- Physically capable of active work and deliveries
- Able to stand for 4+ hours at a time, work in outdoor conditions and lift 40+ pounds regularly.
Bonus Experience:
- Farmers markets or food service
- Hospitality or culinary background
- Local food systems or agriculture
- Retail merchandising or demos
Compensation & Benefits
- $22/hour + commission & performance bonuses

- PTO: 9 hours earned for every 170 hours worked
